5. Clean and disinfect/sterilize the device and the
device parts (see “11. Hygiene treatment” on
page 39).
6. Perform a function check (see “12. Function
check” on page 42).
7.5 Aspiration - operation
Oxygen supply
1. Open the oxygen supply valve slowly. The
contents pressure gauge now shows cylinder
pressure.
2. Calculate remaining operating time, if
appropriate (see “Calculating filling level” on
page 43).
Method
1. Switch on the vacuum at toggle switch 9.
Maximum vacuum is permanently set to –
0.5 bar and cannot be read off directly on the
pressure gauge.
2. Now you can aspirate.
Keep checking the filling level of the oxygen
cylinder from time to time.
