14. Servicing
14.1 Intervals
Every 4 years
• Manufacturer, or professionals expressly
authorized by the manufacturer, to service
oxygen fittings (e.g. pressure reducer).
• Manufacturer, or professionals expressly
authorized by the manufacturer, to service
modules.
Every 10 years
• Repeat test by TÜV of conventional oxygen
cylinders made of steel and aluminum. You can
read off the test date from the shoulder of the
cylinder.
14.2 Scope of servicing
Note
Remember that a final check needs to be performed
after any repair.
We recommend having maintenance measures such
as servicing or repair work carried out by the
manufacturer, WEINMANN Emergency, or by
professionals expressly authorized by the
manufacturer to do this.
The devices should be serviced every 4 years. The
device should be cleaned and disinfected
beforehand(see “11. Hygiene treatment” on
page 39).
