5 Preparation and operation
For ventilators only:
1. Open upper front opening.
2. Operate pressure reducer through the
upper front opening.
3. Close upper front opening.
4. Open lower front opening.
5. Remove breathing circuit.
6. If the lower front opening is closed:
During ventilation, read the device
display through the lower front
opening.
5.7 Lowering emergency
backpack on a rope
Risk of injury due to falling object!
If the emergency backpack is lowered using
a rope, the emergency backpack may fall.
This may injure the user, the patient or third
parties.
Lower down emergency backpack on
the anchor point.
Load anchor point with a maximum of
13 kg weight (emergency backpack and
contents).
