3.2 Function description
The motion profile of the product is freely programmable. The distance from one stop position to the
next is measured by an absolute encoder.
The motor is controlled by the servo drive according to a programmed motion profile and rotates,
accelerates or decelerates the output flange of the product. The output flange can be operated with the
following directions of movement: left, right, or alternating.
The motor drives a toothed belt stage and a single-stage or dual-stage gear and the driving cam of the
gear.
The gear is free from backlash and offers high precision; in conjunction with the motor encoder, this
allows for high-accuracy positioning of the output flange.
