A fifth element is an added feature to the
electric range, and is located at the center of
the cooktop. This fifth element can be used to
keep foods warm when other foods are being
prepared. The fifth element operates at tem-
peratures of between 100 degrees and 200
degrees. This 100 watt element operates across
L1 and Neutral (120 VAC) to maintain the lower
temperatures.
