4.3.2 General cleaning
Caution!
Possible damage to the water tank, the drip tray or the coffee grounds container!
Due to the thermal effect in the dishwasher, the water tank, drip tray and coffee grounds container can be
deformed.
> Therefore, never clean the water tank, the drip tray and the coffee grounds container in the dishwasher.
> Empty the coffee grounds container and rinse it with water.
> Follow the chapter “2.4 Clean the water tank” on page 10.
Heavy calcium deposits can be removed with the WMF descaling agent. After descaling, the water tank
must be thoroughly rinsed to removed the descaling residues.
> Remove the drip tray from the automatic coffee machine.
> Empty the drip tray.
> Rinse the drip tray and drip tray grid with water.
> Re-insert the drip tray.
> Switch off the WMFAutomatic Coffee Machine with the On-/Off-switch (press for about 3 seconds).
> Remove the mains plug.
> Clean the empty bean hopper with a dry, lint-free cloth.
> Switch off the WMFAutomatic Coffee Machine with the On-/Off-switch (press for about 3 seconds).
> Remove the mains plug.
> Clean the housing with a damp cloth.
