6.6 Vertical Mast Rails
WARNING! Turn the key switch to the OFF (0) position and remove
the key before performing service near moving parts such as blades,
pulleys, motors, belts, and chains. If the key is turned on and moving
parts activated, serious injury or death may result.
Wipe the vertical mast rails with Dexron III ATF transmission fluid every 50 hours of oper-
ation.
CAUTION! Never use grease on the mast rails as it will collect saw-
dust.
6.7 Miscellaneous
WARNING! Turn the key switch to the OFF (0) position and remove
the key before performing service near moving parts such as blades,
pulleys, motors, belts, and chains. If the key is turned on and moving
parts activated, serious injury or death may result.
1. Oil all chains with Dexron III ATF every fifty hours of operation.
CAUTION! Do not use chain lube. It causes sawdust buildup in chain
links.
2. Grease the clamps and side support pivots with a NLGI No. 2 grade lithium grease every
fifty hours of operation.
3. Check the mill alignment after every setup (See Section SECTION 7).
4. Make sure all safety warning decals are readable.
