2. Move the width guides to the edges of the tray.
Note: If you do not load envelopes in the Bypass Tray right after they are removed from the packaging, they
can bulge. To avoid jams, flatten the envelopes.
3. Load envelopes in the tray. For envelopes with the flap on a long edge, load envelopes with the flaps on the top
and closed. Keep the flaps toward the right.
Note: An envelope such as 6 x 9 in. (152 x 228 mm), with the flap on the short edge, insert the envelope
with the flap toward the feed direction.
4. Move the width paper guides from the edges of the tray to fit the envelops.
5. At the control panel, select the correct paper size, type, and color. Ensure that the paper type is set to Envelope.
6. To confirm the settings, touch CCoonnffiirrmm.
