6.7 Connect a computer to the web tool through a LAN
Contact the local network administrator for the compliant settings.
1. Set the IP address of the base unit.
For more information, see Set the IP address with the web tool (page 22) or Set the IP
address with the operator panel (page 22).
2. Connect the base unit to the LAN with an Ethernet cable.
Use a CAT5 patch cable with RJ45 plugs.
3. Connect the computer to the LAN with an Ethernet cable.
4. Start the web browser.
5. Enter the IP address of the base unit in the address text box and press the enter key.
6. Click Login.
7. Enter the User name and the Password.
The default user name is config and the default password is ef56.
8. Click OK.
The Quick overview window opens.
