BP: Sounds a loud beep when receiving the Weather

indicator when receiving
the Weather Alert Signal.
B+L: Sounds a loud beep and ashes the
BUSY/TX
in-
dicator when receiving the Weather Alert Signal.
oFF: Disables the Alert function.
When the Weather Alert function is activated, the “ ”
icon will appear on the display.

ALL: Feeds back your voice to the headset while you’re
pressing the
PTT
switch. When the
PTT
switch is
off, you may monitor the sound around the trans-
ceiver (the monitor will pick up the background
sound using the
FTA-310
’s internal microphone).
