4. Install:
• Fitting plate 1
• Bolts 2
5. Adjust:
• Shift cable joint position
6. Check:
• Shift operation
Unsmooth operation → Repair.
7. Adjust:
• Throttle cable joint position
Bolt:
10 Nm (1.0 m•kg, 7.2 ft•lb)
Adjustment steps:
• Turn the shift handle 1 in neutral posi-
tion.
• Align the set pin 2 as shown.
• Adjust the position of the cable joint 3
until its hole aligns with the set pin.
• Install the clip 4 and tighten the lock
nut 5.
The cable joint should be screwed in
more than 8.0mm (0.31 in).
WARNING
Adjustment steps:
• Turn the throttle grip fully close.
• Align the throttle lever 1 as shown.
• Adjust the position of the cable joint 2
until its hole aligns with the set pin.
• Install the clip 3 and tighten the lock
nut 4.
The cable joint should be screwed in
more than 8.0mm (0.31 in).
