Song Settings
BGM (Background Music) Play-
back
With the default setting, pressing the [DEMO/BGM]
button will play back only a few of the internal Songs
repeatedly. This setting can be changed so that, for
example, all internal Songs are played, or all Songs
transferred to the instrument from a computer are
played back, letting you use the instrument as a back-
ground music source. Five playback group settings are
provided. Simply select the one that suits your needs.

Hold down the [DEMO/BGM] button for
longer than a second.
“DemoGrp” is shown in the display for a few sec-
onds, followed by the current repeat playback tar-
get.

Rotate the dial to select a repeat play-
back group from the table below.

Press the [DEMO] button to start play-
back.
To stop playback, press the [DEMO] button again.
Random Song Playback
The order of Song repeat playback via the [DEMO/
BGM] button can be changed between the numerical
order and random order.

Press the [FUNCTION] button.

Press the CATEGORY [+] and [-] buttons
several times to call up “PlayMode”
(Function 059).
“PlayMode” is shown for a few seconds, followed
by the current playback mode, “Normal” or “Ran-
dom.
When the DemoGrp is set to “Demo,” this param-
eter cannot be set.

Rotate the dial to select “Random.
To return to the numerical order, select “Normal.

Press the [DEMO] button to start play-
back.
To stop playback, press the [DEMO] button again.
