TROUBLESHOOTING
Any of the following fail to light: headlight.
TIP
• Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):
1. Under-seat panel
2. Instrument panel assembly
3. Front grill

1. Check the fuses.
(Main and lighting)
Refer to “CHECKING THE FUSES”
on page 8-50.
Replace the fuse(s).
2. Check the battery.
Refer to “CHECKING AND
CHARGING THE BATTERY” on
page 8-51.
• Clean the battery terminals.
• Recharge or replace the battery.
3. Check the main switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-48.
Replace the main switch.
4. Check the light switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-48.
Replace the light switch.
5. Check the entire lighting system wir-
ing.
Refer to “CIRCUIT DIAGRAM” on
page 8-15.
Properly connect or replace the wire har-
ness.
Replace the headllight (left and/or
right).
