7.1 STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONS
Four-wheel drive front axle has a wheel speed proportional to the rear axle. The drive
power is conveyed from the drive pinion of the rear axle assembly (counter shaft) to the
drive gear and drive shaft, then to the front axle through the propeller shaft.

A: The need for adjustment shims, and the number of shims used, varies with the machine.
