Communication and Charging Cradle
CAUTION: Ensure that you follow the guidelines for battery safety described in Battery Safety Guidelines.
NOTE: The Communication and Charging Cradle (CRD-ET5X-1SCOM1) comes with two inserts; tall insert and short insert.
Install the tall insert when using without a Rugged Frame or Expansion Back. Install the small insert when using with an
Expansion Back and without a Rugged Frame.
This section describes how to use a Communication and Charing Cradle with the tablet.
The Communication and Charging cradle:
• Provides power for operating the tablet.
• Provides ports for connecting USB devices to the tablet, video output and connection to a LAN.
• Charges the tablet’s battery
and optional Power Pack installed in an Expansion Back
