Charging the Battery
Use one of the cradles to charge the main battery installed in the device. See the chapter Accessories for
charging accessories. See the ET51/56 Integrator Guide for information about battery management.
The 8.4" tablet main battery charges from fully depleted to 90% in approximately 2.5 hours and from fully
depleted to 100% in approximately 3.5 hours.
The 10.1” tablet main battery charges from fully depleted to 90% in approximately three hours and from fully
depleted to 100% in approximately four hours.
NOTE: The Charging indicator only illuminates when the tablet is connected to AC power.
Zebra Visibility Services
The device captures and provides device analytics to a system administrator. The first time the device boots
(or after a factory reset), the Zebra Services agreement screen displays.

Touch the Device Data switch to disable the device from sending analytics data, then touch OK. Zebra
recommends keeping this option enabled.
Google Account Setup
NOTE: The device has to be connected to the internet in order to set up a Google™ account.
A Google account is only required on devices with GMS software.
The first time the device starts, the Setup Wizard displays. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up a Google
account, configure Google Pay
for purchasing items from the Google Play store, to enter your personal
information, and enable backup/restore features.
Turning Off the Tablet
To turn off the device:
1. Press and hold the power button until the menu appears.
2. Touch Power off.
