YouwillneedaTXwithatleast7channelstousetheGimbalfunction.Usechannel7onyourtransmitterfor
gimbalcontrolandassignittoaknobswitch,Channel7willnowadjustyourgimbalpitchlocationandwill
continuetostabilizethecameraatall
anglesofpitch.Thesparechannelsmaybeusedforotherapplications.
Normallyrollservoswillmaintaingimbalstabilizationinthemiddleposition.Ifyourgimbaltiltstoonesideitcan
beadjusteditbyclicking“EnterSetup”intheSettingsection(CH5mustinmanualandthethrottle
setto
minimum)NowtheCH7knobcanbeusedforcontr ollinggimbalroll.Thegimbalroll’sbalancepositionmaybe
fixedandsavedbyclicking“QuitSetup”.NowCH7willreverttocontrollinggimbalpitch.
9. FirmwareUpgrade
IMPORTANT:
Forsafety,pleaseremoveallthepropellersbeforeupgradingfirmware.
YoumaydownloadthelatestfirmwareandassistanttoolfromtheZeroUAVwebsitebefore upgradingthe
firmware.
(1)ConnecttheYS‐S4tothecomputerwithaMiniUSBcable.PowertheS4andputbringthethrottlesticktothe
bottom.
(2)OpentheS4SetupSoftware“S4‐GCS‐USB.exe”,Click“OpenUSB”buttoninthe“YS‐S4firmwareupgrade”
window.
