6.3 ParameterSetup
YS‐S4Parametersettingcanbeachievedusingamobilephoneortablet(mustbeconnectedtoWI‐FI)orbyusing
aPCtoadjusttheparameters.
6.3.1 PCParameterAdjustment
Please download the special “PC‐Parameter Setup Software” from the Zero website before parameter
configuration.
IMPORTANT
1) “PC‐ParameterSetupSoftware”isalsothefirmwareupgradetool;
2) S4willchoosedifferentworkingmodesifthesequenceusedinpowering‐onisdifferent:
IfyoupowertheS4firstand
thenconnecttheUSBcableyouwillbein“ParameterSetup”Mode.
IfyouconnecttheUSBcablefirstandthenpowerontheS4thenyouarein“FirmwareUpgrade”Mode.

When the craft is on the ground,
power the TX first and thenpowerthe S4. Please MAKE SURE propellers are
removedbeforeconnectingthebatterytopreventinjuryfromthemotorsstartingunexpectedly.
a. Power the YS‐S4 first and then 2 seconds later connect the YS‐S4 module to your PC via the USB
interface.
MAKESUREtheTHRstickisatthebottom.ConnecttheminiUSBcable.
b. Select and open software “S4‐GCS‐USB.exe”, press “Open USB” and press the‘Read’ button (If this
failstryseveraltimes)todownloadyourYS‐S4modulecurrentaircraftconfiguration.
c. Press‘Save’button (Ifthisfailstry severaltimes) to uploadthenewest parameters to the YS‐S4 ifthe
parametershavebeenchanged.
d. Torestorethedefaultparameters,pushTHRsticktobottomandpress‘Default’button.
e. TheS4V2defaultparametersareshownbelow:
