DRAINING THE CONDENSED WATER
FROM AIR TANKS
Drain the condensed water by inclining
or pressing the protruded part of valve.
Air tanks are located in front of rear axle.
At tractors Z 8621 - Z 10641 one air tank
is assembled as a standard or two air
tanks located on left and right hand side
of tractor (in case air brakes are
assembled).
At tractor Z 11641 both air tanks
are assembled as a standard.
CHECKING THE LEAKAGE OF AIR
SYSTEM
-
Fill the air tank to the max. pressure
- The pressure must not drop down by
more than 10 kPa after 10 minutes at
stopped engine.
Daily inspect the system for leaks
before operation with trailer. The
indicator lamp on the dashboard
is on when the air brake system
fails or after dropping the pres-
sure under 420 kPa.
OPERATING PRESSURE OF AIR
BRAKES
At single and double hose brakes the
pressure in double hose coupling (red
cover) is 735 20 kPa and the pressure
in single hose coupling is max. 600 kPa
(in time when the air pressure regulator
releases the compressor air blows
out).
