ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

ALTERNATOR
Alternator is accessible after removing
the right side shield. Charging status is
indicated by the red indicator lamp on
the instrument panel.
Damaged indicator lamp bulb

V 1,2 W must be immediately ex-
changed.
All wires connected with the
alternator must be disconnected
when repairing tractor by electric
arc welding. Protect the wire
"+B" against short circuit.
ALTERNATOR MAINTENANCE
- Protect the alternator against penetration of water or diesel fuel when washing
and cleaning the tractor.
- Battery must be never disconnected from alternator within the operation!
- The alternator must never run without load i.e. with disconnected terminal "+B"
and connected terminal "+D". When increased engine speed, this status would
create excessively high voltage of alternator and the voltage would damage the
alternator electronics.
- Never create the short circuit of any alternator connector within the operation!
- Alternator must not be additionally excited. Alternator electronics is damaged in
this case.
- Keep the perfect electrical connection of alternator terminals and perfect alter-
nator ground.
