5.2.4 Safety devices
Dangerous areas on the vehicle are visibly marked with warning and information labels (See
Chapter 3.9 Warning labels). Anti-bike protections are also fitted on the sides of the
vehicle.
The vehicle may be equipped with safety-compliant footboards and handles for
transporting people during collection round.
In addition, the vehicle has rotating warning lights to warn other road users and working
lights that illuminate the work area. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with the following
safety functions:
Loading status indicator lights (optional)
The current loading status (axle load) of the vehicle is indicated by two indicator lights.
red: discharge required
green: loading status OK.
Supervision of the tailgate mounting frame (optional)
Proper locking and fastening of the optional mounting frame are monitored by the proximity
sensor.
Warning buzzer at the back of the vehicle
After engaging reverse gear and when closing the tailgate, an audible warning sounds from
the back of the vehicle.
Camera system
The vehicle is equipped with a camera system that allows the driver to supervise the area
behind the vehicle (day and night). After starting the ignition, the system with the camera is
automatically turned on and the area behind the vehicle can be observed at the terminal in the
driver's cab.
