If the H4essential is placed directly on a table when recording using its built-in XY mic, reflected sound can
interfere with recording and reduce clarity. We recommend using a tripod, for example, to distance it from
the table. Placing something like a handkerchief can also be effective in reducing sound reflected from a
table.

