Setting Explanation
Off Input signals will be handled as mono audio.
Stereo The input signals from inputs 1 and 2 will be handled as stereo audio.
Input 1 will become the left channel and input 2 will become the right
channel.
MS The input signals from inputs 1 and 2 will be handled as audio
captured in mid-side format.
Input 1 will be used for the mid signal and input 2 will be used for the
side signal.
HINT
Mid-side format is a recording method
comprised of a mid mic and a side mic.
The mid mic captures sound front and
center while the side mic captures sound to
the left and right. These signals are recorded
and converted to stereo. At this time, the
stereo width can be changed by adjusting
the side mic recording level. (→ Setting the
side level when recording mid-side stereo)
