To Accept Configuration Settings
Follow these steps to accept the recommended
configuration settings:
1 Click Next.
2 Go to “Testing the NIC and the Network Connection”
on page 51.
To Modify Configuration Settings
Follow these steps to change configuration settings in a
Windows 95/98 non-Plug and Play PC:
1 Under Network Parameter, select I/O Base Address.
2 In the Set Value selection box, click the scroll arrow
to select the I/O range setting that you wrote down
while following the instructions in “Configuring the
NIC for Windows 95, Version 950b” on page 34 or in
“Configuring the NIC for Windows 98” on page 38.

3 Under Network Parameter, select Interrupt
Request Level.
4 In the Set Value selection box, click the scroll arrow
to select an interrupt request level that matches
one of the available IRQs that you wrote down
while carrying out the instructions in “Performing the
Preinstallation Procedure” on page 30. See Figure 7 on
page 30.
5 When you have finished changing the settings,
click Next.
The next step is to test the NIC and the network connection.
