Viewing 802.1X
Authentication
The 802.1X Summary Page allows the network administrator to view
port-based authentication settings.
To view Port-based Authentication:
1 Click Security > 802.1X > Summary. The 802.1X Summary Page
opens.

The 802.1X Summary Page contains the following fields:
Port — Displays a list of interfaces.
User Name — Displays the supplicant user name.
Current Port Control — Displays the current port authorization
state.
Guest VLAN — Indicates whether an unauthorized port is allowed
to join the Guest VLAN. The possible field values are:
Enabled — Enables an unauthorized port to join the Guest
VLAN.
Disabled — Disables an unauthorized port to join the Guest
VLAN.
Periodic Reauthentication — Enables periodic reauthentication
on the port.
Enabled — Enables the periodic reauthentication on the port.
Disabled — Disables the periodic reauthentication on the port.
This is the default.
