If the speaker on your Aastra IP Phone isn't working, it might be set for headset use only. Press the Speaker key again. If the light turns off, the phone is set for headset or handset use only. If the light stays on and you hear a dial tone, you can switch between the speaker and headset by pressing the Speaker key.
What to do if my Aastra IP Phone shows 'Network Disconnected'?
If your Aastra IP Phone displays a 'Network Disconnected' message, ensure the cables are securely connected to both the phone and the wall jack. The phone should automatically detect reconnection and display 'Network Connected'. If network settings were changed, restarting the phone may be needed. Contact your system or network administrator for assistance.
Why is the handset not working on my Aastra IP Phone?
If the handset on your Aastra IP Phone isn't working, check that the handset cord is fully connected to both the phone and the handset. The handset connection is marked with the handset symbol on the bottom of the phone.
Why is the display blank on my Aastra IP Phone?
If the display on your Aastra IP Phone is blank, ensure the phone is receiving power. If your network doesn't provide inline power over Ethernet, you can use an Aastra PoE inline power supply to provide power. Why is the voicemail lamp not working on my Aastra IP Phone?
The Visual Message Waiting service for your Aastra IP Phone needs to be provided by your phone system or service provider for the lamp to work when you have a new voicemail. Contact your system administrator.

Ensure that power is being provided to your Aastra IP Phone. If your network does not provide inline power over Ethernet, you can obtain an additional accessory, the Aastra PoE (Power over Ethernet) inline power supply, to provide power over Ethernet locally to your phone.

Why does my Aastra IP Phone display the “No Service” message?
