2.3 Power Calculations

2.4 DC/AC Inverter
The DC/AC inverter converts the batteries DC output to AC power for the Media
Gateway and the servers. The inverter is optional and can be replaced with
other types of power backup solutions.
Aastra is not supplying this unit.
2.5 Media Gateway Classic
The Media Gateway Classic boards are installed in one or two subracks
mounted in the cabinet, see Figure 4. When unshielded boards are used, these
should preferably be placed in the lower subrack.
