Note: Make sure to leave a gap of at least 50 mm between the inverter and
the underlying and overlying units, to allow proper ventilation.
4.8 Installing Media Gateway Classic
This section describes the installation of the subracks containing the Media
Gateway Classic boards in the cabinet. Note that this section does not describe
the installation of separate boards in the subrack. One LIM consists of either
a subrack A or a subrack A and B.
Either one or two subracks with Media Gateway Classic boards can be installed
in the cabinet. This section describes installation of two subracks.
Use the following material sets when installing the Media Gateway Classic
and fan unit:
Note: If two subracks A (for two LIMs) are to be installed in one cabinet
mount the lower subrack A according to the instructions for subrack
B. If only one subrack A is to be installed mount the lower air plate
on this subrack.
