EMC filter +E200
EMC filter +E200 is optional equipment in frame size R6, and not suitable for use in
an IT (ungrounded) system as such. If a drive of frame size R6 is equipped with
EMC filter +E200, disconnect the ground connection of the filter before connecting
the drive to the supply network. For detailed instructions on how to do this, please
contact your local ABB representative. See also section Compliance with EN 61800-
3:2004 on page 154.
WARNING! If a drive of frame size R6 equipped with EMC filter +E200 is installed on
an IT system [an ungrounded power system or a high resistance-grounded (over
30 ohms) power system], the system will be connected to ground potential through
the EMC filter capacitors of the drive. This may cause danger, or damage the unit.
EMC filter +E210
EMC filter +E210 is standard equipment in frame sizes R7i and R8i. The filter is
suitable for use both in TN (grounded) and IT (ungrounded) systems. See also
section Compliance with EN 61800-3:2004 on page 154.
