12 pulse configura-
tion with master /
follower link used for
tandem motors
In this combination speed control is performed by the master
whereas current and field control are carried out by the master and
the follower. Each motors is supplied with a 6 pulse current. But
the line current on the primary side of the power transformer is a
12 pulse current.
Note: The 12 pulse link
(V260) is not used in this configuration.
Required settings of master-follower configuration are
not handled in this manual!
For safety reasons a protection against shaft breakdown
and overspeed of the follower must be considered.
