Tripping behaviour

• Tripping of master:
The master trips like in the 6 – pulse single operation.
Then the slave forces the current to zero and fires its bridge cir-
cuit at 150° (60° pulses).
• Tripping of slave:
The slave trips like in the 6 – pulse single operation.
Then the master forces the current to zero and fires its bridge
circuit at 150° (60° pulses).
• Fault message:
The fault message of the 12 – pulse slave must be uploaded via
Ch0 directly from the slave. Then the overriding control must
switch off the 12 – pulse configuration (via master).

• Tripping of master:
The master trips according the fault handing in the manual “op-
eration instructions”. The slave is switched off via 12-pulse link.
• Tripping of slave:
The slave trips according the fault handling in the manual “op-
eration instructions”. The master receives a 12-pulse slave fault
via 12-pulse link and is switched off. The fault message of the
slave must be uploaded via ch0 or ch3 direct from the slave.
• RESET sequence:
For reset of a 12-pulse configuration the overriding control must
send the following commands to the master
RESET
OFF
…..Restart
The DriveWindow buttons (Control Panel) can also be used for
this function.
