Preparations before refitting, upper arm
The procedure below details the preparations which must be done before refitting
the upper arm.

Shown in the figure View of the assembly
of the upper arm components on page 192.
Prepare the shafts:
• Put the shafts (A & B) on a workbench
and fit the sealing rings (E).
• Lubricate the sealing rings with
grease.
• Apply some grease on the shafts.
Note
Don´t apply grease on the threads
and cones of the shafts!
• Apply lubricant paste (D) on the
threads and cones of the shafts.
Molycote 1000.
• Foundry Plus:
Apply rust preventive on the surfaces
on the shaft, according to illustration.
Note
Apply rust preventive to the shafts on
both sides of the robot.

Prepare the bearings:
Fill the bearings (G) with bearing grease.
