Section 16 IED physical connections
16.1 Protective earth connections
The IED shall be earthed with a 16.0 mm
2
flat copper cable.
The earth lead should be as short as possible, less than 1500 mm.
Additional length is required for door mounting.

16.2 Inputs
16.2.1 Measuring inputs
Each terminal for CTs/VTs is dimensioned for one 0.5...6.0 mm
2
wire or for two wires
of maximum 2.5 mm
