eter is easy. If the display or the outside of the
m
eter is
dirty, wipe i t off with a slightly da
m
p cloth.
O
nly use water to da
m
pen the cloth.
If there is any blood in the test strip opening or if your
m
eter displays the E-4 or E-5
m
essage, follow these steps to clean it:

Take the strip guide off by pressing down with your thu
m
b as you slide it off.

Clean t he guide wi th a soft cloth da
m
pened slightly with cleaning solution
(
dishwashing
detergent and water or 1:10 bleach solution
)
* or by letting it soak for one hour in t he solution.

ently wipe the
m
easuring window with a dry lint-free cloth.

W
hen the guide is dry, gently slide it back onto the front of the
m
eter until it clicks into place.

o not operate the
m
eter without the test strip guide at tached.
