unning a Control Test
For control testing

youll need your meter

a test strip
,
a
bottle of ACCU-CHEK Active control solution
,
and a
napkin or paper towel
.

Take a new tes t strip fro
m
the c on tainer. Make sure the
yellow color in the round wind ow on th e back of the strip

atches the yellow color above 0
m

on the
con tainer. If it looks green
,
dont use it
.

Insert the test strip, with the orange pad fa cing up, until it
will go no further into th e
m
eter.

o not bend the test
strip.

The arrowheads are al

ost no longer visible when
the test strip is inserted correctly.

After the flashing blood drop appears
,
you have 2
minutes to apply solution to the strip
.
