The default output shows also a value for the k angle:
- Horizontal k angle (labelled as 'kx'): the output is '+' when the corneal reflex lays
nasal to the center of the pupil, '0' when the corneal reflex coincides with the
geometrical center of the pupil, '-' when the corneal reflex is on the temporal side.
- Vertical k angle (labelled as 'ky'): the output is 'S/D' when the corneal reflex of the
left eye lays superior to the corneal reflex of the right eye, 'D/S' in the opposite case.
When there is a vertical disparity inferior or equal to the established threshold, no
vertical disparity message is given.
NOTE: Please note that cover test can be done both with an infrared occluder or with a
conventional occluder. However, phorias can be detected and measured only with the
infrared occluder.
14.5 Review exams using KALEIDOS App
To browse previously acquired exams select “Check out latest measurements” from
KALEIDOS App main window. The list of acquired exams is displayed.
Exams acquired in 2WIN (Refraction) mode report the indication of the examined eye: both
eyes, left eye or right eye. CR exams, instead, are marked with a “CR Mode” label.
Clicking on 2WIN (Refraction) exams it is possible to review the exam Screening Table and
to open, share and print the PDF report.
