14.3 KALEIDOS App Anterior Segment Hint
Anterior Segment Hint is an innovative A.I. based algorithm running on Adaptica Cloud, de-
veloped to give additional information to the user if 2WIN-S is not able to refract the patient.
Anterior Segment Hint is already active if you are using a KALEIDOS Plus. Otherwise,
it requires an activation code. Please contact your local distributor to get the activation
code.
To work properly, Anterior Segment Hint needs the tablet to be connected to a WiFi
network having internet access.
If Anterior Segment Hint is enabled on your 2WIN-S and if the tablet is connected to a WiFi
network having internet access, the cloud icon on KALEIDOS App is blue, as shown in the
figure below. Otherwise, the cloud icon is grey.
