20.6 Intermediate Vision Application (66cm-App)
Thanks to Intermediate Vision Application 2WIN is able to measure the patient’s refraction
while reading at the distance of 66 cm (24”). In all those cases when reading at such dis-
tance proves difficult, the 2WIN calculates the necessary additional power (ADD) to re-
store best vision.
The reading distance Application requires the use of an additional lens that is inserted in
the central aperture of the 2WIN; the additional lens together with a near point reading
card completes the kit.
• Detection of refraction at Intermediate Distance;
• Definition of the power of the additional lens to add to the basic prescription;
• Identification of difficulty in visual accomodation at Intermediate Distance;
Components
• Add-on lens (must be placed on the frontal part of the 2WIN);
• Reading Chart with printed types;
Intermediate Vision Application activation
After the installation the Application must be activated to be utilized.
Activation: click the BUTTON A ( ) 2WIN Applications screen will be shown to
display.
Doing this, it is possible to navigate and to see all the installed Applications into the device.
By clicking with the cross BUTTON on the Intermediate Vision package icon, this Application
will be the principal one in Main Display and it will be set first in Auxiliary Windows
automatically.
