Environment setup
It is important to prepare the correct environment for the examination.
Please use an appropriate lamp following these tricks:
• Place the light source behind the patient, out of the FOV (field of view) of the 2WIN.
Otherwise, measurement could be unstable and have low index of reliability. With
such conditions a warning “Ambient light too bright” could be displayed;
• Please make sure that the chart reading is not directly enlightened but visible and
readable in semi-darkness;
• Please make sure not to obstruct Operator measurement, in case move the light;
Please make sure that pupil diameter of the Patient is adequate to measurement
(ideal pupils dimension are in the range between 3.5 and 5 mm.). Out of range
condition may require longer time measurement or not possible examination.
If measurement is difficult, move or change the light to reduce chart brightness, up to
pupils become bigger (sufficiently open).
