5. Align the pump cover with the pins on the lever and
gently push the cover into position.
6. Gently press down on the lever [C] to secure the
cover.

7. Screw each end of the tubing into the fitting.
8. Repeat steps 2 through 7 to replace the tubing on the
other peristaltic pump.
9. Press Next when the tubing for both peristaltic
pumps is replaced.
Connect the System Fluid Bottle
1. Unscrew the cap on the new System Fluid bottle and
dispose of the cap.
NOTE: For subsequent System Fluid bottle
replacements, dispose of the bottle according
to established laboratory procedures.
The System Fluid bottle contains residual fluid
at the time of replacement. This is intended to
maintain optimal instrument performance by
preventing air from being pulled into the
fluidics lines.
2. Insert the System Fluid tubing into the bottle, taking
care not to spill any fluid, and tighten the cap.
3. Tighten the System Fluid bottle onto the cap of the
tube assembly.
4. Position the System Fluid bottle [D] in the recess in
front of the waste bottle [E].

5. Press Prime.
The system primes the new system fluid bottle for use
with the instrument.
