Press the window assembly onto the new or cleaned
quartz window.

Insert the window assembly [1] into the cell body.

Using a 4-mm hex key, tighten the window screw hand tight plus a quarter turn.

Reconnect the capillaries, see “Exchanging a Flow Cell” on page 172.

Perform a leak test.

Insert the flow cell.

Replace the front cover

Perform a “Wavelength Verification and Calibration” on page 160 or a “Holmium Oxide Test” on page 151 to check the
correct positioning of the flow cell.
