Engine cover
Removing the engine cover
l
Pull on the cover at its rear end and lift it
l
Pull on the cover at its front end and remove
it
Replacing the engine cover
l
Place the rubber cups onto the ball-heads
l
Then press gently on the front and rear cover
ends to lock the cups onto the ball-heads.

For an easier assembly, apply Bio-
lubrication grease on the rubber cups.
Fuse
A fuse is located between the regulator and
appliance to protect the regulator and generator
from a short circuit induced from outside.
3400 Petrol engine and 3400 Diesel
Engine Version
The fuse is located under the cover (30).
Where the fuse is defective, this must be re-
placed; to do this remove the cover and open
the fuse holder . Ensure that you have a re-
placement fuse in good time (10A flat plug
fuse).
3400 Diesel Engine with E-Starter Version
There is an additional safety element in this
version between the voltage regulator and the
electric starter. The fuse is located on the
engine under the panelling (J/23). Replace the
fuse if it is defective. To do this, remove the
panel (J/26) and open the protective bracket
(J/25). Inside this bracket you will find a spare
fuse. Ensure to provide another spare fuse in
time (20A glass tube fuse).
