Configure the Adapter for Direct Connection and Rack Optimization in RSLogix 5000 Software 55
2. Expand the Communications tree and select the 1734-AENTR
Ethernet Adapter from the list.
3. Click OK.
The New Module dialog opens.
4. Enter values for Name and IP Address, noting we used the following
values.
Name POINT_IO_Adapter
IP Address 10.88.70.2
The Slot field appears grey because the slot is automatically 0 for
the I/O adapter.
