Rapidly Advancing a Cycle in Process on the Machine
1. To rapidly advance a cycle in process on the machine, under the Infrared menu, click Rapid
Advance....
2. The Rapid Advance window opens.
3. To display the segment and step currently in process on the machine, click Get currently
running segment and step. The segment and step currently in process are displayed in the
Segment number : and Step : drop-down lists.
4. To rapidly advance the cycle to another segment and step, from the Segment number : and Step :
drop-down lists, select the segment number and step to which the cycle will advance.
5. Click the Set button. The Rapid advance window opens.
6. Click Send.
7. Align the window on the back of the infrared communication device with the infrared comm port
window on the machine’s control.
8. The cycle advances to the segment and step that were selected.
9. To close the Rapid Advance window, click the Close button.
