Fan Unit
The MMCR18 chassis is shipped
with the MMCR18FAN unit. This unit
includes two fans: FAN1 and FAN2, as
shown in Figure
4.

The fan unit maintains operating tem
peratures by drawing cooling air into
the chassis. The fan unit has an Al
arm
Out Connector, which can be
connected to an external alert devi
ce. For more information, see “Alarm
Out Connector on the Fan Unit” on page
