System Description
4.1 Introduction
This chapter provides a detailed description of the system. The description covers
the system's main components, controls and functional sub-systems, the applicators
and system specifications.
The is a non-invasive radiofrequency system.
A technical discussion of the applicator and technical specifications may be found
later in this chapter.
4.2 System Components and Controls
The system consists of the following major components (see Figure 4-1):
• System Console
• Touch-screen control panel
• Dedicated trolley
• Applicator with umbilical cable and connector.
• Footswitch.
