Operating Instructions
6.1 Introduction
This chapter describes in detail the operating instructions of the system. Specific
treatment parameters and information concerning the therapeutic applications of
the system are provided in the appropriate clinical guides.
Caution
This system may only be operated by a licensed practitioner.
Improper use or adjustment of this system may invalidate the service
warranty agreement. Please contact your authorized Alma Lasers
distributor before attempting to use the system in any manner other than
those specified in this manual.
6.2 Prepare the System for Operation
To prepare the system for operation:
Connect the system to the AC main power.
Connect the desired applicator.
Insert the key into the key switch.
6.3 Operation Summary
To operate the system:
Turn on the system.
Select the tip.
Set the operating parameters.
Set the system to Ready mode.
Press the applicator trigger or the footswitch to emit radiofrequency energy.
