Passwords in AlphaSmart Manager
Send list password
When you set a send list password, no one can send information
from AlphaSmart Manager to your Neo without first typing this
password.
To set a send list password:
1. In AlphaSmart Manager, do one of the following:
• Macintosh: Choose AlphaSmart Manager > Preferences.
• PC: Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click Set Send Password.
3. Type the password in the New Password field, then retype it in
the Retype Password field.
4. Click OK, then click OK again.
Important: A send list password can only be set in AlphaSmart
Manager. If you forget your send list password, contact Technical
Support.
If you no longer want to use a send list password, you can clear it, as
long as you know the current send list password.
To clear a send list password:
1. Do one of the following:
• Macintosh: Choose AlphaSmart Manager > Preferences.
• PC: Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click Set Send List Password.
3. Type the current password in the Old password field.
4. Leave the New password and Retype new password fields blank,
then click OK.
