BOOM BARRIER BV58681212
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
BLOCK CONTACT DESCRIPTION
4
ALR
OPEN / CLOSE control devices input (Fig. 38, ALR) with normally open contact
(NO). Depending on the direction selected in the settings (section ‘7.2. Setting
operation parameters’ P7–F5), activated input will cause opening or closing.
Allother control commands are not executed during the input activation
CVR
Barrier door position switch input. When the door is closed, the switch will be
activated (Fig. 38, SWITCH DOOR) and will have a normally closed contact (NC).
IMPORTANT: When the door is removed, the switch will return to the normally
open state (NO). The barrier will operate in manual mode (by pressing and
holding the control unit (‘7.2. Setting operation parameters’ P3–F1)
S
STOP controller input (Fig. 38, STOP) with normally closed contact (NC). Activation
will result in the immediate stop of movement or blocking the start of movement
+24V Power output for add-on devices. Supply voltage 24 VDC / max. 250 mA
SE
8.2 kOhm resistive safety edge connection input (Fig. 38, 8K2). In the settings
(section ‘7.2. Setting operation parameters‘ P7–F4), edge operation is congured.
Contact of the barrier boom with an obstacle at closing (activation of the installed
sensor) will stop the movement and activate the subsequent full opening
PH2 Safety device inputs (photocells, Fig. 39) with normally closed contact (NC).
Activation when closing will stop the movement and cause the subsequent full
opening or blocking of the closing start
PH1
PHT
Output for photocells automatic check (PHOTOTEST) connected to inputs PH1
and / or PH2. Before motion start, an automatic check of the photocells operation
is performed by means of instant interruption and power-up of the photocells.
Photocells connection with the photocell transmitter power o — Fig. 40A.
Connect the photocells with the transmitter battery power supply — Fig. 40.
ThePHOTOTEST is enabled in the settings (section ‘7.2. Setting operation
parameters’ P7–F3)
5–8
NO1–NO4 Normally open (NO) relay contact
The relay outputs are potential-free
(dry contact). Maximum load: not
more than 3 A.
The mode of operation of the relay is
set in the settings (section ‘7.2. Setting
operation parameters’ P3–F4...F7).
The operation modes of the relay are
described in Table 16
C1–C4 Common relay contact
NC1–NC4 Normally closed (NC) relay contact

+U boom backlighting
Fig. 41.
The LED boom backlighting kit must
be ordered separately (optional).
The behavior of the barrier LED lamp
and the boom backlighting LED
is selected in the settings (section
‘7.2.Setting operation parameters’
P8–F5 and P8–F6). Green light turns
on when fully open
