Chapter 6: TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM TO POWER UP:
If the device does not power up, please turn the power switch off and, after 15 seconds on again. If
this is not successful, connect the power supply plug into the back of the instrument and then attach
the power cable to the supply to charge the internal battery for 2 hours and switch on. Contact your
local supplier or support@eazyplex.com if it still doesn´t work.
ERROR MESSAGES:
“Block hot”:
If a lid is opened during a test run (which shouldn´t be done in any case!) or if a lid is opened shortly
after completion of the run while the block is still hot (> 45°C), the error message “Block hot” is
displayed and a warning sound is given.
Please do not touch the block to avoid skin burns!
In the case of opening the lid during a test run, the light incidence definitely influences the signal
measurement and this may lead to a false-positive result.
BEEPING DURING THE RUN:
In case the Genie
®
II Mk2 device starts beeping while in use, it might be a misaligned lid sensor.

QUESTIONABLE RESULTS:
If a measurement result of an eazyplex
®
test is “invalid” or raises questions, please refer to the
“troubleshooting” section of the corresponding IFU of the performed eazyplex
®
test. Or contact your
local distributor or AmplexDiagnostics GmbH.
